Your roll and responsibilities

All of our staff have been employed as we believe you have the correct skills and attitude to make a fantastic impact on the nursery and the children that attend. The skills we require from our staff include :

• a commitment to working with children- staff are dedicated to child development
• patient- handle situations in a calm and professional manner
• being in touch with your inner child – Being able to see the world through a child’s eye . Having a willingness to get involved with activities and having a good imagination
• creativity –Having lots of ideas and strategies to make learning fun and effective. Creatively thought out lesson and activity plans will help you to communicate your thoughts in a simple way which children can understand.
• personable- being able to build positive relationships with children, parents and families and colleagues.  By communicating and working together, you can make sure a child is happy, healthy and gets all of the support they need, both from you and at home.
